General Manager (Engineering)

Duties & Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager based in Johannesburg to oversee the execution and delivery of projects from start to finish. The successful candidate will lead, motivate, and manage project teams, including engineers, site staff, and project managers, ensuring seamless coordination across departments. They will act as the main point of contact for clients, suppliers, and internal management, providing regular updates and reports to the Managing Director. Additionally, the role involves strategic planning, budgeting, and monitoring financial performance to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Experience in material handling systems is an advantage

Desired Experience & Qualification

Requirements: • Diploma in Engineering or equivalent • 10+ years in General Management • Project execution & delivery • Team leadership & coordination • Stakeholder communication & reporting • Budgeting & strategic oversight • Knowledge of material handling systems
