Generative AI Engineer

Position

• 📍 Amsterdam (Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
• 📅 Contract until February 2027
• ⏱️ 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Build and scale AI‑powered backend systems
• Integrate AI/ML models into production environments
• Develop workflows enabling real‑time AI inference
• Collaborate with ML engineers, data scientists & product teams
• Improve system performance, reliability, and scalability
• Prototype and experiment with new AI tools and approaches

Requirements

• 1–3 years software engineering experience
• (not senior candidates)
• Strong backend skills (Java or Python preferred)
• Exposure to AI/ML concepts or tools
• Experience working with APIs, databases, and distributed systems
• Familiarity with cloud (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus
• Comfortable working in cross‑functional teams
