Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Analyst role based in Abuja. The GIS Analyst will be responsible for conducting GIS analysis, managing spatial data, applying GIS tools, and supporting decision-making processes for security and geospatial projects. Tasks include manipulating geospatial data, creating detailed maps, performing data analysis, and providing actionable insights based on spatial data. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and maintaining data accuracy will be integral to the role.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and GIS Applications
• Demonstrated GIS Analysis and Data Management capabilities
• Strong Analytical Skills for interpreting and visualizing complex geospatial data
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain data integrity
• Proficiency in relevant GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) is highly desirable
• Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geospatial Science, or a related field
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
• Experience in security-related GIS projects is an added advantage
