Develop your expertise in Geology through a Structural Geology Co-Op with Teck in downtown Vancouver. This hybrid, temporary position emphasizes machine learning and computer vision in mining applications.
The role is specifically designed for students enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution, starting on September 14, 2026 for four months. You will contribute to initiatives involving automated feature picking and support the integration of structural data into geological models. Relocation or commuting is expected for the duration of the term.
Key Responsibilities: • Promote and adhere to safety regulations in the workplace • Assist in machine learning workflows for geoscience • Test televiewer feature-picking applications thoroughly • Conduct quality assurance on automated data picks • Validate televiewer data from various mining deposits
