We are looking for an organized, autonomous, and proactive Accounting and Operations Manager to join a dynamic and growing entrepreneurial environment. This is a key and versatile role combining accounting, operations, and executive support, ideal for someone who enjoys task diversity and making a real impact.

Responsibilities

Accounting

• Manage daily accounting operations
• Supervise accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R), reconciliations, and the general ledger
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes with external partners
• Prepare financial reports and maintain accurate records in QuickBooks Online
• Track cash flow and contribute to financial planning

Real Estate Portfolio and Investments

• Manage an investment property portfolio
• Oversee rent collection, tenant communications, and related administrative tasks
• Manage mortgage renewals, refinancings, and insurance
• Track property profitability and cash flow
• Participate in purchase and sale transactions in coordination with external partners

Operations and Executive Support

• Oversee daily administrative and operational activities
• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate services
• Support management in handling schedules, priorities, and ad-hoc requests
• Draft professional communications (including formal and governmental letters)
• Contribute to various projects and the smooth running of operations

Profile

• Solid accounting experience with full-cycle mastery
• Ability to work autonomously in an agile and evolving environment
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and proactivity
• Experience or interest in real estate / investment management
• Discretion and comfort with confidential information
• Comfortable with technological tools; experience with QuickBooks Online an asset
• English required; other languages an asset
