What will your day-to-day look like?
Reporting to the Associate Director, the Strategic Operations Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring the organization’s strategic projects. They ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality and performance objectives.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Coordinate internal and external resources for project execution
- Monitor deliverables, milestones, and performance indicators
- Identify risks and implement mitigation plans
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders (clients, suppliers, internal teams)
- Prepare progress reports and present results to management
- Lead project teams and foster a culture of collaboration
- Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and become a reference point within the organization
What do you need to be successful?
- University degree in project management, business administration, engineering, or a related field
- PMP certification (an asset)
- Minimum of 7 years of experience managing complex projects
- Excellent command of project management tools (MS Project)
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and understand internal and external operational challenges
- Strong leadership, organizational skills, and analytical mindset
- Ability to work in a constantly evolving environment
This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
