Opportunity
This unique opportunity is for female high school students to explore what it means to be an engineer at a top Canadian energy company. Over the course of 4 weeks, you will job shadow engineers from different disciplines, make meaningful connections with engineering students and engineers-in-training, and learn important lessons to help you decide if engineering is the right career path for you. This is a paid internship.
Minimum Requirements
- A student who self-identifies as female, currently completing grade 10 or 11
- You must be willing to participate fully in the learning opportunities offered during the work term
Location and other key details
- This is a 4-week commitment from August 4 - 28th, 2026
- This position is office-based, with a location at Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 - 6th Avenue S.W. or at one of our operating sites in Fort McMurray
- The hours of work are 8:00 - 4:00, Monday to Friday and transportation to site will be provided to those in Fort McMurray
