Requirements

• 5 or more years of experience in transportation-focused GIS solutions architecture using ArcGIS Enterprise.
• Proficiency in the Esri software stack including ArcGIS Pro, Portal, Server, and ArcGIS Online.
• Experience with FME, Python, and ArcPy for geospatial data automation and ETL processes.
• Experience in REST/SOAP API development and integrating GIS with enterprise ERP and EAM systems.
• Experience with enterprise database management using PostgreSQL, PostGIS, and SQL Server.
• Experience with Linear Referencing Systems, Esri Roads & Highways, and federal reporting mandates.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect and document end-to-end geospatial solutions integrated with core business systems and cloud services.
• Design scalable APIs, data pipelines, and middleware to facilitate real-time and batch data exchange.
• Lead the technical migration of GIS infrastructure to cloud environments and perform performance optimization.
• Develop automated workflows and geoprocessing services using Python, SQL, and Model Builder.
• Translate federal transportation mandates like HPMS and ARNOLD into technical requirements and workflows.
• Coordinate with infrastructure and security teams to ensure compliant and secure enterprise integrations.
• Evaluate emerging spatial technologies and lead pilot projects for advanced mobility and traffic analytics.
