For one of our clients, we are looking for GL ACCOUNTANT on a permanent contract. Its an international company operating in the industrial automation and technology sector.

Around 4500 - 5200 gross per month

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the balance sheet and profit & loss accounts
• You will focus on the Belgium market and part of the German market
• Perform account consolidation and reconciliation activities
• Support accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings
• Assist in the preparation of VAT and corporate income tax (CIT) declarations, financial statements, and statistical reporting
• Deliver monthly reports and analysis to support other departments

YOUR PROFILE

• Solid knowledge of accounting principles, including Belgian GAAP (minimum 3y of experience)
• You need to be familiar with an manuel working environment
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a General Accounting role (BEGAAP)
• An analytical mindset with a high degree of ownership and independence
• Familiarity with VAT/CIT regulations and non-deductible costs is a strong plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & experience with SAP is considered an asset
• Strong communication skills in English (business proficiency)
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
