As Global Engineering Quality Manager (m|f|d), you ensure that engineering processes, designs, and delivery results meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and sustainability. This role combines strategic leadership with technical expertise, driving quality from concept to implementation for turbines, generators, and related systems.

Your Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for the development and consistent application of processes for technical risk management (FMEA: DFMEA, SFMEA, PFMEA) across all project phases.
  • Driving the digitalization of risk management through tools such as cloud-based FMEA platforms, dashboards, and automated tracking systems.
  • Moderating and conducting FMEA sessions with cross-functional teams for systematic risk identification, assessment, and mitigation.
  • Ensuring complete traceability of risks, compliance with standards, and completion of measures using digital tools along the entire value chain.
  • Collaborating with Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Project Management to integrate FMEA results into design, production, and execution processes.
  • Conducting technical risk analyses and audits, as well as training teams in FMEA methodology, root cause analysis, and preventive action planning.
  • Monitoring and reporting on risk indicators and FMEA progress to management, fostering continuous improvement and lessons learned via digital platforms.

Your Profile

  • Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Systems Engineering; further training or certification in FMEA, Risk Management, or Quality (e.g., CQE, Six Sigma) is highly desirable.
  • 7–10 years of professional experience in engineering quality or technical risk management, ideally in a regulated or project-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in leading FMEA activities (DFMEA, SFMEA, PFMEA), technical risk analyses, and implementing risk mitigation strategies along the entire value chain.
  • Solid experience with digital risk management tools (e.g., APIS IQ-FMEA, Siemens Teamcenter Quality, PTC Windchill Quality Solutions, or comparable platforms), data analysis, and digital collaboration platforms.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of ISO 9001, risk management frameworks, root cause analyses, and quality planning.
  • Excellent moderation, analytical, and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
  • Fluent English skills; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
