As part of a retirement, we are looking for a Global Key Account Manager for a permanent position to be filled as soon as possible, to ensure an optimal handover. You will work in close collaboration with the President, the Sales Director, and the Sales/Customer Service team.

This position will be based in Paris with regular travel to our production sites in Eure (Saint-Aubin-Sur-Gaillon). You will also be required to travel to trade shows in France and internationally, as well as to visit clients.

Your Missions

Client Portfolio Management

  • Analyze customer needs in collaboration with the R&D department and propose suitable technical solutions.
  • Lead major commercial negotiations in close collaboration with the company's President.
  • Directly follow up with the company's major and historical clients.

Commercial Development

  • Identify new sales opportunities, develop strategies for acquiring new markets, and negotiate contracts.
  • Participate in defining the company's commercial policy for the accounts under your charge: establish a Business Plan for each of these accounts.
  • Set sales objectives and monitor their achievement.

Internal Coordination

  • The GKAM collaborates with various teams (marketing, logistics, production, customer service) to ensure the quality of services offered and customer satisfaction.
  • The GKAM is in charge of several highly strategic clients in collaboration with the President and the Sales Director, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty through follow-up and development actions.

Needs Analysis

  • Understand the specific needs of each client and propose adapted solutions, participating in the implementation of various commercial strategies.

Performance Monitoring

  • Evaluate the results of actions taken and adjust strategies based on customer feedback and commercial performance.

Required Skills

  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build trusting relationships with clients, continuing the existing relationships.
  • Negotiation Skills: Good aptitude for negotiation.
  • Analysis and Strategy: Ability to analyze market needs and develop relevant commercial strategies for the client accounts you manage.
  • Project Management: Project management skills to coordinate internal and external efforts (relationship with Distributors who are in contact with GKAs).
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to adapt to market changes (changing geopolitical context), client needs, and internal production constraints.

  • Your initiative drives you to propose creative and pragmatic solutions to anticipate client needs.
  • Knowledge of the agri-food or cosmetic sectors would be an additional asset for quick integration and targeted expertise.

Profile Sought

  • Education: Bachelor's degree (Bac+3/5) in international business; business school or equivalent, a background in law would be a plus.
  • Experience: 8 to 10 years as an Account Manager.
  • Languages: Bilingual English (oral and written).
  • Tools: Proficiency in ERP (Odoo); CRM; Office suite; comfortable with digital tools in general.
