Are you passionate about shaping the future of hydropower control systems? Join Voith Hydro in a key position, where you will drive the global product management for our HyCon Control System portfolio. As Global Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the product strategy, supporting new product development, and hands-on business development for concrete market opportunities. Your focus will be on achieving ambitious growth targets and managing the product portfolio throughout its entire lifecycle.
Your tasks
- Develop and implement a comprehensive growth strategy for the HyCon Control System portfolio, aligned with Voith’s long-term vision. Set clear objectives and define the roadmap to achieve them.
- Lead product management initiatives, including new product development, product launches, and lifecycle management from inception to obsolescence.
- Identify, evaluate, and drive new business opportunities in close collaboration with the sales team, providing hands-on support to clients and opportunities in the market.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams - including engineering, sales, marketing, and service - to develop innovative solutions that meet evolving customer needs and differentiate Voith from competitors.
- Track and report on product performance, delivering actionable insights and recommendations to senior management for continuous improvement.
Your profile
- Master’s degree in Business Administration with strong technical affinity, or in Engineering/Technical field with substantial business administration experience.
- Proven experience in product management, including product development and lifecycle management, with a strong focus on business development and growth management (preferably in hydropower or renewable energy).
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional, global teams in a matrix organization, motivating others and preparing for higher leadership responsibilities.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, including proficiency in market research and competitive analysis.
- Very good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with high emotional intelligence and adaptability across diverse situations.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, visionary mindset combined with a pragmatic business attitude.
- Willingness to travel worldwide.
This position can be filled at any of our global Voith Hydro locations. The remote work policies will adhere to the regulations of the specific location where you are based - this is not a fully remote position.
