About the Role
We are seeking a Global Product Manager to lead strategic initiatives for our portfolio of plasticizers and specialty additives. This role is pivotal in driving global marketing strategies, optimizing profitability, and fostering innovation in collaboration with customers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Global Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement marketing strategies to ensure strong product positioning, customer intimacy, and market development.
- Pricing & Profitability: Apply and refine data-driven pricing strategies to achieve targeted margins and optimize profitability across product lines.
- Portfolio & Market Analysis: Manage product portfolio strategy, conduct market analysis, and identify growth opportunities in partnership with Sales and Application Technology.
- Contract Management & Negotiations: Oversee contract creation and administration; support Sales in negotiations to secure profitable agreements.
- Market Presence & Customer Engagement: Represent the company at customer visits, trade shows, and industry associations; maintain strong relationships with key accounts and stakeholders.
- Forecasting & Planning: Prepare short-, medium-, and long-term forecasts to ensure accurate business planning.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in Business Administration or Chemistry preferred.
- Experience: 5–10 years of relevant experience in global organizations.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical thinking and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Deep understanding of financial KPIs, marketing, and pricing strategies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to build strong relationships and negotiate effectively at all levels.
- Other: Willingness to travel up to 20%.
