We are excited to announce an opening for a Global Project Manager focused on managing a national account customer. This role is essential for providing leadership and direction across all Project Management responsibilities, ensuring exceptional project delivery, client satisfaction, and achieving financial targets.
The Global Project Manager will take charge of all facets of systems integration projects. This includes planning, initiating, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing projects with accountability for their overall success. The ideal candidate will manage multiple projects concurrently, each with varied schedules, scopes, and requirements, ensuring completion on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Effectively plan and execute projects using appropriate methodologies and techniques tailored to the specific project needs.
- Create essential planning documents such as project plans, scope documents, SOWs, charters, and schedules.
- Develop and manage sub-plans, including communications, quality assurance, resource allocation, and deployment plans.
- Oversee project management activities like issue and risk identification, change management, financial tracking, and communication with stakeholders.
- Document and prioritize project change requests, facilitate their approval, and adjust plans as needed.
- Align expectations with resource managers regarding project allocation and performance standards.
- Implement effective Quality Assurance/Quality Control processes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct project closeout activities, ensuring smooth transitions to operations teams.
- Collaborate with various groups and departments to ensure project success.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics, including customer satisfaction levels.
- Generate innovative ideas and solutions to enhance delivery quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Share lessons learned with the organization.
- Mentor and coach new team members as they join the team.
- Provide support to other teams as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- PMP certification is a plus.
- 2-5 years of proven Project Management leadership experience, particularly in the electronic security or construction sectors.
- Strong understanding of Project Management fundamentals, methodologies, and tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail.
- Proficient in communicating with all management levels.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to document findings and recommendations.
- Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and conflict resolution capabilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork and relationship building.
- Proficiency in scheduling tools and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio).
