About

We are seeking an experienced Golang Developer to be part of a growing and innovative Cyber Security focussed product business.

Tech Stack: Go (Golang), Linux, Event-driven architecture and Event Sourcing, NATS (specifically JetStream)

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the core platform for advanced network encryption products written in Go
• Contribute to the transition from a traditional web server/database architecture to a Go-based, event-driven system.
• System Deep-Dive: You will be developing for products that operate similarly to high-speed routers, requiring an interest in networking and low-level system performance.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact in the Swiss office for this specific platform, coordinating daily with an international distributed engineering hub.

What We Are Looking For

• Ideally 3–5 years+ of professional experience in backend development, though we are open to talented junior-to-mid-level engineers who are eager to learn from the ground up.
• Proficiency in Go (Golang) is essential.
• A strong comfort level working within Linux-based environments.
• A solid understanding of networking principles (IP, routing, etc.) is a significant advantage although not a hard requirement
• Experience with NATS, JetStream, or general event-driven architecture/event sourcing is highly desirable.
• While not a daily requirement, knowledge of PHP is a "nice-to-have" to help if needed with occasional maintenance on the legacy platform.
