Golf Coordinator: George

Our client is on a recruitment drive for a Golf Coordinator to join their team, the ideal candidate will be responsible for day-to-day coordination administration and delivery of golf operations. Ther ole focuses on providing exceptional service to members, guests, and corporate clients while ensuring the efficient management of bookings, tournaments golf days, member services, marketing support and cross-departmental operational coordination.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

Daily Golf Operations

  • Manage tee times, bookings amendments, and cancellations through all booking platforms
  • Prepare and maintain tee sheets to optimise golfer flow capacity and pace of play
  • Administer the annual golf events calendar and ensure accurate scheduling
  • Coordinate golf cart allocations and availability during peak periods
  • Monitor pace of play in conjunction with marshals and the Pro Shop
  • Welcome members visitors, and groups in a professional and service-oriented manner
  • handle daily enquiries via telephone, email, m3ssaging platforms, and in person

Tournament and Golf Day Management

  • Plan, organise and execute member, corporate, league, and committee golf days
  • manage events contracts invoicing payment follow-ups and reconciliations
  • coordinate event logistics including registrations, tee sheets carts, signage, sponsorships, and prize-giving
  • Prepare scorecards, draws, pairings, and results documentation
  • Assist with prize presentations and post-event administration

Group and Corporate Bookings

  • Manage group and corporate bookings including pricing, communication,, invoicing,, and on-day coordination
  • Consult with clients regarding formatts, catering, branding and sponsorship requirements
  • Administer vouchers, promotional packages, and corporate agreements

Member & Guest Services:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for all golf-related enquiries
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with members and guests
  • Administer memberships,, onboarding, invoicing,, and databse accuracy
  • Resolve complaints professionally and escalate where required
  • Promote golf competitions, programs, and club initiatives

Committees & league Support

  • Provide support to Men's and Ladies Committees with scheduling, bookings, scoring, prizes and event administration
  • Assist club captains with league registrations, documentation, and tee times
  • Attend golf committee meetings and record minutes
  • Attend annual and special general meetings and record minutes

Marketing & Communications:

  • Design promotional material for golf days, competitions and events
  • Manage golf-related content across social media, Whatsapp notice boards, newsletters
  • Capture photographs for marketing and club records
  • Maintain communication lists and member updates

Administration, Reporting & Pricing

  • Maintain accurate records of rounds played events, vouchers, league results, and club history
  • Prepare reconciliations, invoicing and financial reports
  • Assist with pricing reviews for green fees, carts, golf days and group packages
  • maintain filing systems and general office administration

Operational Support

  • Liaise with the Pro Shop, Golf Director, Restaurant, Security outside staff, and course maintenance teams
  • Provide hands-on support during busy periods and major events to ensure an outstanding golf experience

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Previous experience in golf club, operations, hospitality,, events, or customer service
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer literacy and experience with booking or club management systems
  • Knowledge of golf operations, handicaps, and tournament formats advantageous
  • Willingness to work weekends, public holidays, and event days as required
