Cloud Engineer

Position Overview

The Cloud Engineer will support the design, automation, and operation of cloud based infrastructure and application platforms within Google Cloud Platform environments. This role focuses on infrastructure automation, container platforms, and continuous delivery pipelines while collaborating with cross functional engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support cloud infrastructure solutions within Google Cloud Platform
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Create automation and tooling using Python
• Build and support continuous integration and delivery pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Deploy, manage, and support containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform, deployment, and automation issues
• Collaborate with application, security, and operations teams to support customer environments
• Document configurations, standards, and operational processes

Qualifications

• Experience working with Google Cloud Platform services and architectures
• Strong Python experience for automation and scripting
• Strong Terraform experience for infrastructure provisioning and management
• Experience building and maintaining CI CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Experience with container technologies including Docker
• Experience deploying and supporting Kubernetes environments
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, and identity concepts
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within engineering teams
• Strong communication and documentation skills
