Google Cloud Platform DevOps Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in New York. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), Kubernetes, and Helm charts, along with a passion for automation, scalability, and reliability in cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloudnative applications.
• Manage and optimize infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
• Deploy and configure applications using Kubernetes and Helm charts.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and operations teams to streamline workflows.
• Implement best practices for security, scalability, and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Handson expertise with Google Cloud Platform services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, IAM).
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and Helm charts for application deployment.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar).
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, or similar).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).
• Excellent problemsolving and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Terraform or other InfrastructureasCode tools.
• Knowledge of Docker and containerization best practices.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
