Genesis10 is currently seeking a Governance and Process Analyst for a 30+ month contract position located in McLean, VA. This is a full-time, on‑site role with our client, a major financial services firm.
Responsibilities
- Manage backlog reduction and intake processing for exceptions and deviations
- Conduct documentation follow-ups and track remediation efforts
- Perform cleanup of expired exceptions and non‑functional requirement waivers
- Scrub and standardize confidential data repositories
- Support parallel processing for manual exception handling and new automation pilots
- Ensure no disruption to business‑as‑usual throughput and validate automation outcomes
- Improve adherence to service level agreements (SLAs)
- Lower compliance and operational risk from expired or undocumented exceptions
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant experience in a high‑volume exception and deviation environment
- Hands‑on experience with Jira and SharePoint
- Proficiency in Excel
- Experience archiving data, standardizing repositories, and with governance or technical writing
- Strong analytical judgment to minimize compliance and operational risk
- Ability to assess intake volume, backlog size, and processing trends to prioritize work
- Strong data hygiene and validation skills to ensure records are accurate and standardized
- Excellent delivery, time management, and communication skills to execute under pressure
- Experience managing multiple parallel workstreams while tracking dependencies and removing blockers
- Some project management experience is preferred
Pay Range
$50.00 - $62.00 per hour
Employment Eligibility
