About the Role

Vertosoft is seeking an experienced and analytical professional to join our Operations team as a Government Business Analyst II.

This role is responsible for owning operational workflows across assigned government contract vehicles, including supplier onboarding, pricing validation, and contract reporting. The Government Business Analyst II ensures pricing integrity, compliance alignment, and accurate reporting while supporting scalable, audit‑ready operations.

This position is ideal for professionals with experience in government contracting who are ready to independently manage defined workflows, systems, and contract requirements.

Requirements

What You’ll Do

  • Own onboarding processes for assigned suppliers, partners, and contract vehicles
  • Validate pricing data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with contract requirements
  • Interpret contract pricing terms and resolve discrepancies across systems
  • Prepare, validate, and support monthly contract reporting activities
  • Maintain alignment between contract requirements and operational systems (CRM, ERP, and vendor portals)
  • Identify and mitigate compliance risks; escalate issues as needed
  • Maintain organized, audit‑ready documentation and support internal reviews
  • Recommend and contribute to operational and system improvements
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Operations, Sales, and IT to ensure data and process alignment
  • Other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Public Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3–5 years of experience in government contracting, pricing analysis, or compliance‑focused operations
  • Strong analytical skills with experience validating and reconciling data
  • Ability to interpret contract terms and pricing structures
  • High attention to detail and organizational discipline
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting government contract vehicles (e.g., GSA, SEWP, SLED, cooperative purchasing agreements)
  • Experience preparing or validating contract reporting
  • Familiarity with compliance audits or audit readiness practices
  • Experience contributing to process improvements or systems enhancements
