About the role
Key Responsibilities • Lead discussions with stakeholders to gather, understand, and validate business requirements. • Communicate technical and functional solutions clearly to stakeholders. • Obtain approval/sign-off on documented workflows and specifications. • Identify, analyze, and propose solutions for business problems. • Document business processes and functional/technical specifications. • Recommend cost-effective technology solutions aligned with business needs. • Translate requirements into actionable Jira tickets for the development team. • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and manage issue tracking. • Provide 3rd-level technical support and perform root cause analysis for live projects. • Ensure technology solutions meet organizational quality standards. • Monitor project risks and provide proactive solutions. • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and approval processes. • Maintain accurate documentation using proper formatting, UK English grammar, and punctuation.> • Track time in Jira/Tempo with correct project code allocation. • Contribute to a culture of accountability, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline. • Completed or pursuing a Business System Analysis course. • 1-2 years' experience in a Business Analyst role (preferably in technology projects). Skills • Strong computer literacy and understanding of mobile/web/back-end systems. • Proficiency with Jira, Smartsheet, Confluence, Google Drive, Microsoft Office. • Knowledge of SDLC methodologies and Agile practices. • Ability to document and interpret technical requirements. • Strong project management, planning, and analytical thinking skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication. • Customer management and stakeholder engagement. • Teamwork, collaboration, and conflict resolution. • Problem-solving, stress tolerance, independence, assertiveness. • Leadership, multitasking, persistence, attention to detail. • Empathy, innovation, adherence to rules, and business acumen.
