Our client, a prestigious non-profit foundation dedicated to community development, is seeking a highly organized and passionate Grant Program Manager to join their fully remote team. This vital role involves overseeing the entire lifecycle of grant programs, from initial design and application process to fund disbursement and impact evaluation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of grant management principles, non-profit operations, and the ability to foster relationships with various stakeholders. Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage grant program strategies and guidelines.
  • Oversee the grant application submission and review process.
  • Evaluate proposals based on merit, impact, and alignment with foundation goals.
  • Manage grant agreements, fund disbursement, and financial compliance.
  • Provide ongoing support and technical assistance to grant recipients.
  • Monitor project progress and outcomes through regular reporting and evaluation.
  • Conduct virtual or in-person site visits to assess project implementation.
  • Analyze data and prepare comprehensive reports on program impact and effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate grant databases and records.
  • Ensure compliance with all grant-making policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including potential applicants, grantees, and foundation leadership.
  • Identify opportunities for program improvement and innovation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Non-profit Management, Public Administration, Social Sciences).
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in grant management or program management within the non-profit sector.
  • Strong understanding of grant lifecycle, from solicitation to reporting.
  • Proven experience in proposal evaluation and monitoring.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in grant management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities effectively in a remote setting.

Location

This position is based in Pretoria, Gauteng, ZA but is a fully remote opportunity.
