Creative Designer & Animator (Contract-to-Hire)

About the Role

We’re looking for a Creative Designer & Animator to help bring our brand and data to life.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll create visual content across marketing, sales, and product storytelling—especially translating complex workforce and economic data into clear, engaging visuals. You’ll be our first dedicated design hire, which means you’ll have a big impact on how our brand looks and feels across everything we do.

What You’ll Do

• Design marketing assets across channels:
  • Social media graphics
  • Email visuals
  • Website graphics
• Create and improve sales materials (presentations, one-pagers, decks)
• Develop motion graphics and short animations for:
  • Social content
  • Webinars
  • Product storytelling
• Turn data and insights into clean, compelling visuals (charts, infographics)
• Help establish and apply consistent brand guidelines across materials
• Support video editing and content repurposing (e.g., webinars → short clips)

• Our marketing and sales materials feel consistent and professional
• Complex ideas and data are easier to understand through visuals
• We’re able to produce content faster and at a higher quality
• Our brand becomes more recognizable across channels

Who You Are

• 1–3 years of experience in design, animation, or multimedia (freelance or full-time)
• Strong portfolio demonstrating both design and motion work
• Proficient in tools like:
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere)
  • Figma or similar design tools
• Able to take direction and turn it into polished, on-brand visuals
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Bonus (Not Required)

• Experience with data visualization or infographic design
• Background in B2B, SaaS, or analytics-driven products
• Interest in storytelling through animation
