Graphic Designer - Custom Vinyl Graphics & Signage

Job Summary

Lilliput Play Homes is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to create and produce custom vinyl graphics and signage for our one-of-a-kind playhouses. This role is perfect for someone who blends creativity with craftsmanship—bringing imaginative designs to life while maintaining a clean, elevated aesthetic.

What You’ll Do

• Design custom vinyl graphics, decals, and signage tailored to individual playhouse builds
• Collaborate with our team to translate creative concepts into production-ready designs
• Operate vinyl cutting machines and related equipment
• Weed, mask, and prepare vinyl for application
• Apply vinyl graphics to a variety of surfaces for both indoor and outdoor use
• Ensure precision, durability, and high-quality finishes on all installs
• Manage multiple custom projects while maintaining attention to detail and timelines
• Manage color accuracy and consistency across various media by applying color management principles and understanding color theory

What We’re Looking For

• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Graphtec Pro Studio (familiarity with SketchUp a Plus)
• Experience with vinyl cutting machines (Graphtec Cutting Pro)
• Knowledge of materials and techniques for indoor and outdoor vinyl application, including production design and layout design for large-format printing
• Strong understanding of layout, typography, and clean design principles
• Ability to balance playful, imaginative concepts with a polished aesthetic
• Hands-on, self-starter mentality with a willingness to be involved in both design and production
• Strong organizational, time management, and presentation skills to communicate ideas clearly to clients and team members
• Manage color accuracy and consistency across various media by applying color management principles and understanding color theory.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with large-format printing or signage production
• Familiarity with 3D rendering or mockups for client presentations
• Background in experiential, environmental, or custom fabrication design
• Passion for Creative Artistry
