Group Accountant

Company Profile

Our client is an established, growth-oriented company with several subsidiaries in Germany. The company is characterized by short decision-making processes, a down-to-earth corporate culture, and a modern and dynamic working environment. As part of the further development of the finance organization, the position of Group Accountant is newly created.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of group consolidation according to HGB for around 15 companies
• Development and further enhancement of a quarterly consolidation process
• Preparation of management reports and support with group reporting
• Execution of individual closing work according to HGB
• Contact person for accounting issues within the corporate group
• Direct reporting to management
• Participation in the optimization of existing finance and reporting processes

Requirements

• Successfully completed commercial apprenticeship or degree with a focus on Finance / Accounting
• Several years of professional experience in accounting and/or consolidation according to HGB
• Good knowledge in the preparation of annual financial statements
• Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP or comparable solutions
• Structured and self-reliant way of working
• Strong communication skills and hands-on mentality
• Very good German language skills
