This is an exciting opportunity to step into a high-visibility, high-impact leadership role that is essential to the success of the Avigilon system. As the Group Product Manager for AI & Analytics, you will report directly to the Director of Product Management for the Avigilon Platform. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our intelligence strategy, focusing on how AI transforms raw camera and sensor data into actionable insights and workflows.

Your Role Includes:

  • Define the AI Strategy & Vision: Develop a multi-year vision and roadmap for AI and Analytics across the Avigilon platform.
  • Design End-to-End Experiences: Define user experiences from initial detection on devices to forensic search and alerting within video management and access control systems.
  • Ensure Consistency: Work closely with Product teams for Video Management Software, Access Control, Appliances, and Devices to deliver cohesive AI capabilities across all products.
  • Bridge Research and Engineering: Collaborate with AI Platform Engineering and Research teams to set precise requirements for new features and make key decisions on technical approaches and trade-offs.
  • Field Performance & Advocacy: Address customer issues related to AI performance in the field, focusing on enhancements based on real-world data.
  • Master the Message: Collaborate with Product Marketing to create effective messaging and high-quality product materials to communicate our AI capabilities.
  • Team Leadership & Mentorship: Provide guidance to other Product Managers and prepare to grow your team as the AI function expands.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years in Product Management with a strong focus on AI/ML, with a proven ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
  • Deep expertise in AI, machine learning, and advanced video analytics.
  • Hands-on experience with products utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs), Vision Language Models (VLMs), and generative workflows.
  • Familiarity with connecting AI models to secure, external data sources and tools using frameworks like Model Context Protocol (MCP).
  • Strong systems thinking to visualize edge-to-cloud AI implementations.
  • Exceptional influencing skills with the ability to build trust in a matrixed organization.
  • Effective communication skills, able to translate technical concepts into compelling value propositions for diverse stakeholders.

What Sets You Apart:

  • Experience building or managing AI agents for multi-step tasks.
  • Experience managing AI features that span hardware and software.
  • Deep understanding of physical security, video security, or access control domains.

Compensation:

Target Base Salary Range: $160,000 - $200,000

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 7+ years of experience in product management.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely.
