You’ll be responsible for supporting the group consolidation process and external reporting, ensuring compliance with IFRS, regulatory requirements, and internal policies. Acting as a trusted business partner, you’ll provide technical guidance, interpret complex financial information, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Duties:
- Prepare and review group and segment consolidations
- Analyse financial performance and provide meaningful commentary
- Review business unit submissions and resolve reporting queries
- Manage intercompany eliminations and consolidation adjustments
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, Companies Act, and JSE requirements
- Interpret and communicate complex accounting matters
- Support implementation of new accounting standards
- Partner with finance teams, auditors, and senior stakeholders
- Provide insights on risks, trends, and financial performance
- Support audit processes and external reporting deliverables
- Drive enhancements in reporting processes and systems
- Contribute to automation and efficiency initiatives
- Support ongoing optimisation of consolidation tools (e.g. HFM)
Qualifications:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- BCom Accounting
- BCom Honours / CTA
- CA(SA)
Experience:
- Completed SAICA Articles
- 2 – 4 years post-qualification experience
- Experience in group reporting and/or consolidations within a listed or multinational environment
- Strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical and technical accounting ability
- Experience with HFM or similar consolidation systems (advantageous)
- Ability to manage complexity and work under pressure
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
