Job Description
We are in search of a highly driven Growth Account Executive specializing in Insurance who is eager to identify new opportunities, creatively address client challenges, and cultivate enduring relationships that foster account growth. This role is integral to CapTech's ongoing success and requires combining exceptional delivery with proactive business development.
In this role, you will manage strategic account leadership alongside hands-on execution, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor and a growth driver for CapTech. The ideal candidate will act with urgency, adaptability, curiosity, and confidence, ensuring measurable value is delivered to our clients.
Responsibilities • Develop and implement account growth strategies, establishing playbooks and developing sales pipelines. • Leverage your established network to drive immediate revenue growth and maintain strong personal and professional relationships. • Introduce new services to expand CapTech’s presence and ensure we are a vital part of our clients’ businesses. • Identify and secure new business opportunities within existing accounts to foster year-over-year revenue growth. • Balance your focus between business development and overseeing delivery across consulting solutions. • Build expertise in CapTech’s service offerings while staying informed on industry trends and dynamics. • Translate client needs into innovative solutions that yield measurable impact. • Oversee the financial and operational health of accounts, managing margins, forecasts, and resource alignment. • Deeply engage clients by immersing yourself in their culture and leadership forums, thus reinforcing CapTech as a strategic partner. • Quickly adapt to changes in client priorities and market conditions. • Lead cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder expectations and resolve issues to ensure client satisfaction. • Mentor account managers and consultants on relationship management and growth practices. • Lead proposals and growth initiatives while promoting CapTech’s broader service portfolio. • Communicate effectively with both internal teams and external clients, fostering trust and credibility. • Negotiate multi-year deals and expansions, acting as a financial steward for both CapTech and its clients. • Consider the wider implications of solutions, ensuring alignment with the client's enterprise strategy.
Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field. • 8+ years of experience in consulting or relevant industry roles with clear account management success. • 8+ years of experience in program/project management, leading technology initiatives. • Proven ability to drive account growth and manage complex engagements. • Experience managing accounts with revenues exceeding $5M and achieving consistent growth of 15-20% annually. • Ability to advise on modernizing core systems to cloud-based solutions. • Experience collaborating with business and IT teams to translate requirements into scalable tech solutions. • Experience driving digital enablement through customer and agent portals, mobile applications, and omnichannel strategies. • Knowledge of insurance-related systems and business processes. • Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the insurance sector. • Proven experience in developing joint account plans with delivery and partner teams. • Experience guiding C-suite executives and engaging senior stakeholders. • Adaptability to shifts in client needs and market conditions. • A problem-seeker mindset, capable of presenting tailored solutions. • Dynamic leadership skills to confidently guide teams and clients. • A passion for delivering outcomes that enhance client success. • Strong entrepreneurial spirit capable of identifying and acting on opportunities swiftly. • Willingness to work on-site in Richmond up to 5 days a week, with some travel based on account requirements.
