Growth Marketing Director
CAPITAL CENTER LLC
About the role
Role Summary
CapCenter is hiring a Growth Marketing Director to own, build, and scale the company's AI-augmented growth marketing function. This is the senior-most marketing leader in the organization, reporting directly to executive leadership and accountable for top-of-funnel growth, brand, and the marketing P&L.
You won't just "use AI tools" - you'll architect agentic workflows, deploy autonomous marketing systems, and build the team, infrastructure, and operating model that lets a lean lender outperform competitors many times our size. This role sets the strategy, hires and leads the team, owns the budget, and is measured on revenue contribution - not vanity metrics.
What You'll Build
- A high-performing growth marketing organization - internal team, agencies, and contractors - operating on agentic AI workflows
- Agentic content pipelines that generate, test, and optimize marketing assets autonomously
- AI-powered lead scoring and routing that connects the right borrower to the right loan officer at the right time
- Automated competitive intelligence systems that surface market shifts before competitors react
- LLM-driven personalization at scale - dynamic email sequences, landing pages, and ad creative tailored to borrower intent
- Predictive analytics and forecasting models that connect marketing activity directly to pipeline and revenue
- End-to-end marketing automation that runs 24/7 with human-in-the-loop oversight
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership
- Own CapCenter's growth marketing strategy end-to-end - annual plan, quarterly OKRs, channel mix, and roadmap aligned with company revenue targets
- Serve as the senior marketing voice on the leadership team - translating business goals into AI-powered marketing plans and influencing company-level strategy
- Build and lead the marketing function - hire, mentor, and manage internal staff, agencies, and contractors as the team scales
- Own the marketing budget and P&L - manage seven-figure annual spend, allocate across channels, and demonstrate ROI to executive leadership and the board
- Present performance, strategy, and investment proposals to the CEO, COO, and leadership team on a recurring cadence
- Evaluate, champion, and operationalize emerging AI tools, platforms, and methodologies that create durable competitive advantage
Execution & Optimization
- Direct multi-channel digital programs (paid search, paid social, email, SEO, content, partnerships) to drive qualified mortgage leads at scale
- Architect and oversee agentic workflows that autonomously manage campaign optimization, lead scoring, and content generation across the funnel
- Own the marketing technology stack - selection, integration, governance, and ROI of every platform in use
- Design and continuously optimize end-to-end marketing automation - from lead capture through nurture to conversion - ensuring seamless handoff to loan officers
- Lead CRO and experimentation programs across landing pages, ad creative, email sequences, and full-funnel conversion points
- Drive SEO/content strategy using AI-assisted research, generation, and optimization to build sustainable organic channels
Analytics & Intelligence
- Own marketing analytics and attribution - build AI-enhanced dashboards, define KPIs (CPL, CAC, LTV, conversion rates, ROAS), and set the reporting cadence for leadership
- Deploy AI/ML models for predictive lead scoring, LTV forecasting, and multi-touch attribution
- Develop forecasting models that connect marketing activity to pipeline, locks, and funded loan volume
- Partner with capital markets, operations, and origination leadership to align demand generation with business capacity, seasonal demand, and market conditions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (MBA or advanced degree a plus)
- 10-15 years of digital marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a director-level or above role owning full-funnel growth strategy and a marketing P&L
- Demonstrated experience building or rebuilding a marketing function - hiring the team, selecting the stack, and standing up the operating model
- Hands-on experience building or directing agentic AI workflows - autonomous agents, multi-step pipelines, or AI-orchestrated marketing systems in production
- Strong working knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI application development as applied to marketing
- Proven track record of scaling acquisition channels and managing seven-figure marketing budgets with measurable ROI
- Deep proficiency in marketing platforms: Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics (GA4), email/CRM tools (HubSpot, Mailchimp, or similar)
- Advanced analytical skills - attribution modeling, forecasting, cohort analysis, and executive- and board-level reporting
- Excellent copywriting, storytelling, and content strategy skills - and the editorial judgment to direct others
- Proven ability to manage agencies, vendors, and direct reports; experience hiring marketers preferred
- Executive presence - comfortable presenting to the CEO, COO, board, and cross-functional leadership
Preferred
- Mortgage, real estate, or financial services marketing leadership experience
- Experience building AI agents using frameworks like LangChain, CrewAI, Claude, or custom orchestration
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow, or similar)
- Knowledge of mortgage compliance and advertising regulations (RESPA, TILA, fair lending)
- Experience scaling a marketing organization from a small team to a full function
