About the role

About Bodenglück

Bodenglück is a fast-growing e-commerce startup that helps people find the perfect flooring for their lives. Simple, digital, and with real advice instead of overwhelm. "We bring joy into your home" – with strong products, inspiring home stories, and service that truly makes customers happy.

Responsibilities

Your mission in this role: In this role, you will ensure that our growth goals translate into concrete marketing successes with a clear focus on data-driven growth along the entire funnel. You will maximize the performance of our channels, strengthen customer loyalty and lifetime value, and ensure that every investment in content and performance measures measurably contributes to Bodenglück's profitability.

What you will do with us:

  • You will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and optimization of growth measures across our key marketing channels. This primarily includes performance ads and email marketing, supplemented by selected new formats and collaborations.
  • You will manage our agency partners in day-to-day business, prioritize growth levers, and ensure that agreed-upon KPIs and quarterly goals are reliably achieved.
  • You will develop and optimize email and pattern flows, sales and discount promotions, and lifecycle campaigns with the aim of continuously increasing conversion rates, sample-to-order rates, and CRM revenue share.
  • You will prepare weekly performance reports with clear insights and concrete recommendations for action and translate data into understandable decisions for the team and management.
  • You will monitor the market, test new channels and tactics (e.g., new paid formats, affiliates, collaborations), and validate them using clearly defined success metrics such as MER, CAC, and ROAS.
  • You will work closely with colleagues from shop, CRO, purchasing, logistics, and content to ensure that all measures along the customer journey mesh meaningfully.

Qualifications

What makes you stand out:

  • You have at least 3 years of experience in performance or growth marketing, ideally in e-commerce, and possess a deep understanding of marketing unit economics; you can confidently classify, calculate, and explain metrics such as CAC, LTV, contribution margin, MER, and conversion rates.
  • You go far beyond mere reporting: You identify the causes of efficiency losses in the funnel, derive hypotheses from them, and test them in a structured and statistically sound manner.
  • You have strong initiative and see KPIs as your personal responsibility. You act not just as a coordinator, but as a driver of growth and actively solve problems without constant guidance.
  • You think entrepreneurially and profit-orientedly, can assess when promotions like discounts mean short-term revenue vs. long-term margin, and clearly justify these decisions.
  • You have a strong customer focus and understand the customer journey and the behavior of our target groups, allowing you to plan and optimize measures across all touchpoints coherently.
  • You are proficient in using common tools such as GA4, Meta/Google Ads, and an email/CRM tool (e.g., Klaviyo, Odoo) and are comfortable setting up or interpreting dashboards or reports in tools like Looker Studio.
  • You can convince agencies and internal stakeholders (e.g., purchasing, logistics, management) with your data-based recommendations and communicate clearly, structurally, and efficiently across functions.

Benefits

How we tick – do we fit together? Our values are the filter through which we view collaboration. If you see yourself here, you will very likely fit well with Bodenglück:

  • You don't just look at your to-do list, but also at the people around you, share knowledge, and pitch in when things get hectic.
  • Challenges trigger problem-solving in you instead of excuses; you stay calm, make decisions, and find a way.
  • You are a driving force, take responsibility for topics, and go the extra mile when it makes a difference for the team and customers.
  • You think along, question, structure, and decide in the interest of the big picture. Responsibility for you doesn't end with your own task.
  • You want to grow professionally and personally, share learnings with the team, and elevate your work to a new level every year.

What you get from us:

  • A team based on trust, open communication, and honest feedback
  • Flexible working hours, hybrid work & 28 days of vacation
  • Further training & space to develop your ideas
  • Jobrad, company pension plan, employee discounts & corporate benefits
  • Access to a strong e-commerce network
  • A creative team with heart that looks forward to your input

If you nodded several times while reading and thought to yourself, "This is exactly how I want to work," then send us your CV.

Requirements
