The BTV Vier Länder Bank AG, based in Innsbruck, is one of Austria's most successful banks with around 950 employees and operates in the markets of Tyrol, Vorarlberg, Vienna, Southern Germany, German-speaking Switzerland, and South Tyrol.
What to expect
- You will lead the Data Management & Engineering group with 3 team members and shape a high-performing, modern, and responsible data organization.
- You will further develop the company-wide Data Governance Framework and ensure that clear standards, robust processes, and a sustainable data culture are established.
- You will ensure that our data platform remains continuously performant, secure, and maintainable through automation, scalable operating processes, and technical excellence.
- You will drive a data-driven way of working throughout the company by defining standards, enabling training, and promoting active communication.
- You will work closely with business units, IT, and external partners, creating a strong, cross-departmental data ecosystem through clear coordination, transparent steering, and collaborative work.
What you bring
- You have a deep understanding of Data Governance, Data Architecture, and Data Platforms and can confidently apply these concepts in complex corporate landscapes.
- You possess the ability to structure and prioritize heterogeneous data landscapes and translate them into company-wide standards, role models, and processes.
- You bring strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills and move confidently in the interplay of business units, technology, and governance.
- You lead your team members with technical strength, clarity, and empathy and are experienced in effectively supporting technical and professional development.
- You are familiar with regulatory requirements such as data protection, DORA, EU AI Act, and bank-specific regulations and can translate data strategies into concrete initiatives, technical measures, and viable processes.
This role is subject to the collective agreement for bank employees. The minimum salary for this position in full-time employment is EUR 3,612.55 gross per month. Compensation will be based on current market salaries and will take your qualifications and experience into account. We are happy to discuss this with you personally.
