Role Summary
We are looking for a highly experienced Guidewire ClaimCenter Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale insurance claims solutions. This role demands deep technical expertise, strong architectural leadership, and the ability to align technology with business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Design
- Define end-to-end architecture for ClaimCenter, including integrations, data models, and workflows
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance applications
- Establish technical standards, frameworks, and best practices
Leadership & Governance
- Provide architectural direction and mentor senior engineering teams
- Conduct design reviews and ensure adherence to enterprise architecture principles
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align solutions with business goals
Integration & Ecosystem
- Architect integrations with Policy, Billing, CRM, and third-party systems
- Oversee APIs, messaging, and batch processing frameworks
- Ensure seamless interoperability across Guidewire and enterprise platforms
Strategic Initiatives
- Translate insurance domain requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Contribute to roadmap planning, modernization, and cloud migration
- Drive innovation using cloud-native, microservices, and DevOps practices
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
- 15+ years of IT experience, with 8–10+ years in Guidewire ClaimCenter
- Strong expertise in Guidewire ClaimCenter architecture and configuration
- Proficiency in Gosu, Guidewire APIs, and data model design
- Experience with integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, messaging systems)
- Solid understanding of insurance claims domain
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and DevOps practices
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Guidewire certifications (ClaimCenter or Solution Architect)
- Experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP)
- Exposure to PolicyCenter and BillingCenter integrations
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
- Experience with performance tuning and security best practices
- Knowledge of modern frontend frameworks (for portal integrations)
- Prior experience in large-scale transformation or modernization programs
