Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Technical Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise‑scale Guidewire solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise across Guidewire InsuranceSuite and a strong understanding of Property & Casualty insurance processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain end‑to‑end technical architecture for Guidewire implementations
• Lead cloud‑native Guidewire deployments and ensure cross‑module synchronization
• Manage and oversee complex product model changes without impacting runtime environments
• Provide architectural guidance on PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter
• Drive best practices in Guidewire development, integration, and deployment
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior and senior developers
• Collaborate with business and finance stakeholders to explain architectural decisions and trade‑offs
• Implement and manage Guidewire integrations using APIs, messaging, and event‑driven architecture
• Stay updated with Guidewire releases and evaluate new features (e.g., Jutro, Advanced Analytics)

Core Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in Guidewire InsuranceSuite:
  • PolicyCenter
  • ClaimCenter
  • BillingCenter
• Hands‑on experience with:
  • Guidewire Integration (APIs, Integration Gateway)
  • Messaging, Plugins, App Events, and asynchronous processing
• Proficiency in GOSU and Java
• Experience with cloud‑native Guidewire implementations
• Knowledge of Jutro for digital frontends
• Strong understanding of Property & Casualty insurance lifecycle:
  • Underwriting
  • Claims adjudication
  • Financial reporting

Certifications

• Guidewire Certified Associate (Mandatory)
• Guidewire ACE Certification (Preferred)

Leadership & Soft Skills

• Strong architectural and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Proven ability to lead and mentor development teams
• Strong decision‑making and stakeholder management skills
