Job Description

You will develop innovative measuring instruments and be responsible for electronic design – from concept and circuit development to series production. You will work closely with international locations and contribute your expertise worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Development of an electronic concept in coordination with other departments
• Creation of overview diagrams such as block diagrams
• Design and creation of circuits and schematics in cooperation with the departments
• Development of a test concept for printed circuit boards in coordination with manufacturing
• Release of the printed circuit board design after creation by the layout team
• Execution of verification measurements on circuits and assemblies
• Support during series production, including verification and EMC measurements
• Carrying out necessary revisions in series products and actively participating in problem-solving for series production issues
• Active participation in product development from the concept phase to series production in close cooperation with international subsidiaries and departments such as software, design, manufacturing, and product management

Requirements

• Explicit willingness for a multi-year stay abroad as an expatriate (1-3 years) at an international subsidiary (Germany, Switzerland, or USA) after about one year of training in Graz
• Completed degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field
• At least 3 years of experience in electrical engineering
• Headquarters, knowledge in development, verification, and implementation of circuits
• Knowledge in circuit design and verification of circuits
• Experience with safety and standard requirements (e.g., EMC, CE, UL) advantageous
• Practical experience in the laboratory and workshop (e.g., electrical measurement technology, soldering)
• Very good English skills (written and spoken, C1/C2)
• Very good German skills (written and spoken, C1/C2) advantageous
• Team player and communicative
• High quality standards, precise working methods, and analytical thinking

We offer you fair and market-competitive compensation based on the collective agreement for employees in the metal industry – adjusted to the regional conditions of the Styrian labor market. The minimum salary for this position is EUR 3,500 gross per month (full-time basis). Personality, competence, and experience count more with us than rigid requirements. Therefore, we determine your actual gross salary individually and, of course, reward your qualifications with appropriate overpayment.
