About
We are looking for a Hardware Engineer will be responsible for diagnosing, validating, and troubleshooting automotive electronic systems, with a focus on Engine Control Modules (ECMs) and related subsystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform automotive electronics troubleshooting and failure analysis
- Work extensively with Engine Control Modules (ECMs) and associated systems
- Read and interpret:
- Electrical schematics
- Wiring diagrams
- Conduct ECU/ECM validation and field return analysis
- Use lab equipment such as:
- Oscilloscopes
- Digital multimeters
- Power supplies
- Electronic loads
- Diagnose:
- Component-level failures
- Electrical issues
- Thermal-related faults
- Utilize diagnostic tools (e.g., CAN analyzers)
- Perform root cause analysis using methods like:
- 5-Why
- Fishbone diagrams
- Recreate failures in lab environments and work independently
- Analyze logs and correlate software behavior with hardware issues
- Collaborate with:
- Design teams
- Manufacturing teams
- Quality teams
- Maintain strong attention to detail and ownership mindset
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in:
- Electrical Engineering
- Electronics Engineering
