We are looking for a Hardware Engineer will be responsible for diagnosing, validating, and troubleshooting automotive electronic systems, with a focus on Engine Control Modules (ECMs) and related subsystems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform automotive electronics troubleshooting and failure analysis
  • Work extensively with Engine Control Modules (ECMs) and associated systems
  • Read and interpret:
    • Electrical schematics
    • Wiring diagrams
  • Conduct ECU/ECM validation and field return analysis
  • Use lab equipment such as:
    • Oscilloscopes
    • Digital multimeters
    • Power supplies
    • Electronic loads
  • Diagnose:
    • Component-level failures
    • Electrical issues
    • Thermal-related faults
  • Utilize diagnostic tools (e.g., CAN analyzers)
  • Perform root cause analysis using methods like:
    • 5-Why
    • Fishbone diagrams
  • Recreate failures in lab environments and work independently
  • Analyze logs and correlate software behavior with hardware issues
  • Collaborate with:
    • Design teams
    • Manufacturing teams
    • Quality teams
  • Maintain strong attention to detail and ownership mindset

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in:
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Electronics Engineering
