About the Role

Within your #OneTeam team, you will join the BareMetal Business Unit, whose main mission is to offer our clients the ability to rent dedicated servers worldwide to meet their needs and easily build their future application platforms, scalable and evolvable. More specifically, you will join the Hardware Engineering team, responsible for the design, integration, validation, and lifecycle management of Hardware.

As an Hardware Integration Engineer, you will participate in the integration of Bare Metal software applications such as firmware, their monitoring, automation, validation, etc.

Your main responsibilities

• Operate tools managing hardware compliance of our servers at scale, across all our data centers in France and internationally.
• Contribute to and improve the integration of software applications within our continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) processes up to production deployment.
• Constantly question what exists and explore what needs to evolve to better meet the evolving needs of our solutions and our clients.
• Apply hardware and software security aspects throughout the value chain.

• Have gained expertise in the OVHcloud technological ecosystem.
• Have started questioning the existing and exploring what needs to evolve to better meet the evolving needs of our solutions and our clients.
• Have been able to bring your technical expertise to your team.

Required Skills

• You have a hardware aptitude.
• You have experience with systems (linux).
• You master scripting languages such as Perl, Python, Bash...
• You have practical experience in developing and operating CI/CD tools.

Nice to Have

• You have technical knowledge of server hardware, Graphics Card, Baseboard Management Controller (BMC), TPM, Nvme.
• You have technical experience in software firmware integration (BIOS, UEFI, Embedded...).
• You have knowledge of development languages such as Go, C or C++.
