Join our RF & Microwave R&D center in Nozay and become part of a dynamic hardware development team shaping the future of microwave data transmission and delivering world-class point-to-point (microwave) access equipment globally. The HW RF & Microwave team collaborates closely with various teams (HW digital, HW integration & validation, HW mechanical, software teams, project managers, product managers, Systems & Architecture teams) and is responsible for the design of all RF and microwave boards.
We are looking for highly motivated professionals with a strong understanding of electronic engineering to join our team.
Responsibilities
Within the HW RF & Microwave team, your responsibilities will include:
- Design, development, and testing of RF and microwave circuits, sub-systems, and components up to 42 GHz, as well as in E and D bands.
- Monitoring RFIC design (architecture, specifications, simulation results, and characterization).
- Performing and/or monitoring electromagnetic simulations, schematic capture, and board routing (PCB/PBA) using tools such as HFSS, CST, ADS, or equivalents.
- Performing RF measurements using vector network analyzers (VNA), spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and other laboratory equipment.
- Writing technical documents, such as test reports, design specifications, and simulation reports.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in hardware (product engineering, digital, pre-integration, I&V), systems (S&A), and manufacturing.
Qualifications
Must-Have Skills
- Master's degree in Electronics, with a specialization in RF & Microwaves, and 2 to 5 years of professional experience.
- Solid expertise in analog RF circuit design and key RF components (PLLs, frequency synthesizers, PAs, LNAs, filters, modulators/demodulators, baseband).
- Proven experience in RF board design (from a few GHz up to D-Band) and good command of the hardware development cycle.
- Proficiency in RF simulation tools (LTSpice, ADS, CST, HFSS, or equivalents).
- Hands-on knowledge of RF/Microwave test equipment as well as PCB technologies and manufacturing processes (SMT, micro-electronics).
- Excellent English level, enabling effective collaboration with international teams.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Knowledge of signal integrity and RF routing.
- Understanding of digital communications (information theory, coding, modulation).
- Experience with CAD tools (Mentor Xpedition, Cadence) for schematic capture and routing monitoring.
- Use of LabVIEW for automated test benches.
- Strong analytical skills, creativity, technical curiosity, and teamwork spirit, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel and a sense of responsibility.
