Job Description

• Lead and manage the accounting and finance department, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth and sustainability.
• Prepare detailed budgets, forecasts, and financial plans in collaboration with senior leadership.
• Oversee cash flow management, ensuring optimal financial health for the organisation.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to aid decision-making and enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements in the business services industry.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial stakeholders.
• Support and mentor the finance team to maintain high performance and professional development.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Finance should have:

• A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
• Proven experience in financial leadership roles, particularly within the manufacturing sector.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards applicable in London.
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools.
• A strategic mindset with a focus on achieving organisational objectives.
