About the role

Join Our Team as the Head of Management Accounting!

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to lead our Management Accounts function. In this role, you will oversee the entire month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities: • Lead the Management Accounts function, ensuring seamless month-end closure and reporting. • Produce insightful performance and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making. • Manage the consolidation of the UK P&L for management reporting. • Ensure accuracy in balance sheet reporting, in compliance with SOX and internal controls. • Design and standardize processes while driving efficiency through automation and continuous improvement. • Provide leadership and mentorship to three Senior Management Accountants and coordinate the wider management accounts team. • Support the annual and quarterly budgeting and forecasting cycles. • Assist with statutory year-end audits and SOX activities to maintain internal controls.

External: • Statutory Auditors • Suppliers • Banking Providers

Qualifications & Experience:

Essential: • Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent), with significant experience leading a management accounts team. • Strong leadership capabilities with experience guiding teams through organizational change. • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Power Platform tools (including M code and Power BI). • Excellent knowledge of ERP systems. • Experience with US GAAP and SOX compliance, including ASC 606.

Desirable: • Experience in public sector or outsourced business services. • Familiarity with SAP ByDesign. • Experience in a matrix organization.

Travel Requirements:

Minimum Salary: £85,000.00

Maximum Salary: £90,000.00
