About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Product Design to join their team. The successful candidate will be a senior design leader with a strong background in product design, particularly in the consumer space. This role is pivotal in elevating product quality, raising the design bar, and shaping the next phase of growth. The Head of Product Design will be responsible for end-to-end product design, from strategic thinking to pixel-level detail, and will work closely with product and engineering teams to deliver high-quality consumer experiences. Mentoring designers, influencing cross-functional teams, and a passion for financial innovation are also key aspects of the role.

Applicants for the Head of Product Design position at the company should have a minimum of 8 years' of product design experience, with a focus on mobile and web experiences. Deep expertise in designing scalable systems and a proven track record in consumer product design are essential. The role requires the ability to operate at both strategic and detail levels, as well as experience in mentoring designers and influencing cross-functional teams. While not mandatory, experience in fintech, digital assets, or regulated environments, as well as a background in high-growth startup or scale-up environments, are considered advantageous. The ideal candidate will be a player-coach, with a hands-on approach, and will be instrumental in defining how design scales within the organization.
