About the role

Responsibilities: • Develop and implement the organization’s project management framework, methodologies, and standards. • Define project scopes, timelines, budgets, and resource plans in line with corporate strategy. • Conduct feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and risk assessments for proposed projects. • Establish governance structures to ensure consistency, accountability, and transparency across all projects. • Oversee planning, coordination, and execution of multiple projects simultaneously. • Ensure all projects are delivered within the approved scope, time, and budget. • Implement quality assurance systems and project monitoring tools (dashboards, progress reports, and KPIs). • Drive compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards on all project sites. • Lead a multidisciplinary team of project managers, engineers, and technical staff. • Assign responsibilities, monitor performance, and foster a high-performance culture. • Provide mentorship, professional development, and continuous learning for team members. • Act as the primary liaison between the organization, clients, contractors, consultants, and regulatory agencies. • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure timely communication of project status, challenges, and solutions. • Promote collaborative relationships to enhance client satisfaction and project outcomes. • Oversee project budgets, expenditures, and financial performance. • Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to manage vendor contracts and ensure value for money. • Optimize resource allocation and ensure efficient utilization of materials, manpower, and equipment. • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to prevent cost or schedule deviations. • Develop contingency plans and lead project recovery initiatives when required. • Conduct post-project evaluations and embed lessons learned for continuous improvement. • Prepare and present comprehensive project status reports and dashboards to executive management. • Track KPIs to evaluate progress, quality, and financial performance. • Recommend innovative tools and processes to enhance delivery efficiency and project outcomes.

Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is an added advantage. • Professional certification, such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or equivalent, is strongly preferred. • 10–17 years of proven experience in project management, with at least 5–7 years in a leadership or senior management role. • Demonstrated experience leading multiple complex projects simultaneously from initiation to completion. • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, frameworks, and best practices. • Excellent strategic planning, organizational, and resource management skills. • Experience managing cross-functional teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders. • Strong budget management and cost control experience. • Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Asana, Jira, Trello, or similar platforms. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and drive problem-solving initiatives. • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop project managers and team members. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities effectively.

Remuneration:NGN 1,400,000- NGN 2,200,000 Monthly Net
