As part of this expansion, we are looking for a Head of Wealth Planning, based in Geneva.
Your role
As Head of Wealth Planning, you will be responsible for developing the Bank’s Wealth Planning activity for the Swiss market. You will define a comprehensive offering covering pension planning, tax structuring, and succession planning, while supporting Relationship Managers on high-value client situations.
You will also play a key cross-functional role by coordinating with the Asset Management, Legal, and Private Banking teams to deliver coherent, structured, and client-centric solutions.
Your responsibilities
Wealth Planning Offering Development
- Define and structure a dedicated Wealth Planning offering for Swiss resident clients;
- Integrate and further develop existing solutions, particularly vested benefits solutions;
- Design and develop internal and external solutions related to Swiss pension planning (BVG/LPP, Pillar 3a, 3b), Insurance solutions and Asset structuring;
- Develop analytical tools, frameworks, templates, and client documentation to support the offering.
Advisory & Technical Expertise
- Advise on complex wealth situations involving entrepreneurs, private assets, and insurance-based structuring;
- Provide in-depth expertise in Swiss taxation (income and wealth tax), pension planning, and succession planning;
- Prepare tailor-made recommendations and high-value wealth structuring recommendations.
Support to Relationship Managers
- Support Relationship Managers in business development through high-value technical expertise;
- Participate in strategic client meetings as the subject matter expert;
- Translate complex client situations into practical, structured, and actionable solutions.
Business Development
- Identify and develop partnership opportunities, particularly in pension solutions (LPP/BVG), insurance 3b, and vested benefits solutions;
- Establish and manage distribution partnerships with intermediaries such as HR departments, brokers, and EAMs;
- Actively contribute to revenue generation through delivery of high-value advisory services, Asset gathering into vested benefits solutions and Acquisition of new Swiss resident clients.
Marketing & Communication
- Define and implement the communication strategy for the Wealth Planning activity in Switzerland;
- Develop high-value marketing materials, presentations, solution sheets, and educational content;
- Deliver internal training sessions for Relationship Managers and other teams on pension planning, taxation, and structuring topics;
- Produce expert content, insights, and thought leadership articles for clients and prospects.
Qualifications & Skills
- 10+ years of experience in Wealth Planning / Wealth Structuring.
- Strong expertise in Swiss personal taxes and solid knowledge of Swiss pension solutions (LPP/BVG, vested benefits, Pillar 3a and 3b).
- Good understanding of Swiss inheritance and succession law.
- Experience advising HNWIs and entrepreneurs.
- Proven ability to build and structure a business offering within an entrepreneurial environment.
- Fluent in French and English. German is a plus.
