As the Head of Programs SME, you will play a key role in strengthening the businesses of women entrepreneurs by providing high-quality advisory, coaching, and capacity-building support.
You will work within our programs and community to offer practical, actionable strategies that help women grow and professionalize their businesses. You will also support with documentation for funding, reporting, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring that our work creates value for both the organization and the clients we serve.
Key Responsibilities
Provide hands on business advisory support to women-led SMEs, delivering practical and actionable strategies to strengthen operations, increase sales, improve financial management, and drive sustainable business growth.
Develop high-quality documents including proposals, RFP submissions, funding applications, business plans, strategic reports, and other materials that advance Shecluded’s programs and partnerships.
Collaborate closely with internal teams (Programs, Credit, Community, Partnerships) to enhance service delivery, improve client experience, and increase overall value for both clients and Shecluded.
Support research, data gathering, and market analysis, synthesizing insights into clear recommendations that inform program design, business advisory interventions, and strategic decision-making.
Monitor client performance and advisory outcomes, tracking progress, identifying gaps, and adjusting support strategies to ensure businesses achieve measurable results.
Contribute to the company’s growth and impact goals by identifying partnership opportunities, supporting stakeholder engagement, and strengthening relationships within the SME ecosystem.
Design and facilitate business training, workshops, and coaching sessions, ensuring content is practical, relevant, and aligned with the needs of women entrepreneurs across sectors.
Ensure high-quality documentation and reporting, maintaining accurate records, preparing advisory summaries, and supporting program monitoring and evaluation efforts.

Qualifications/Requiremnt • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Development Studies, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s degree is an added advantage).
• • A strong understanding of MSMEs/SMEs and the business climate in Nigeria.
• • Strong analytical, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• • Ability to translate client objectives into practical business solutions and deliverables.
• • Knowledge of key business drivers, regulatory factors, and operational processes across different sectors.
• • Ability to define strategies, build business cases, and design target operating models (processes, customer journeys, workflows).
• • Strong Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Project) and familiarity with Canva or similar business tools.
• • Strong presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• • Demonstrated leadership or management potential—ability to coach, coordinate, and guide others. • Excellent written and spoken English (local languages are an added advantage).
