VEGA IS HIRNG! Lead Business Analyst to support long‑term, large‑scale project with our direct client. This position is Contract or Contract to Hire, hybrid based 6‑month contract to hire opportunity. Candidate must live within a commutable distance to Reston, VA.

Responsibilities

  • The Lead Business Analyst will have the responsibility to ensure that the business's need for changes to processes, policies and/or information systems are identified, understood, defined, documented and acted upon by eliciting, analyzing, documenting, validating, specifying and verifying the needs of business or user.
  • The incumbent will be accountable for leading the gathering and synthesizing of business requirements for high complexity software, systems, processes and/or services and translating them into specifications ensuring the business objectives are met.
  • As the functional expert, the incumbent serves as a strategic conduit between the business area and the technical or software development team through which requirements flow.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (Master's Degree MBA Preferred)
  • 8 years progressive experience in business analysis, systems analysis, testing or other analytical experience
  • Must have current Healthcare experience
  • Demonstrated ability to have led the deliver of high quality, effective deliverables on‑time and be a significant contributor to the development of cost‑effective solutions.
  • Expert understanding of business analysis core competencies
  • Demonstrated ability to have led the deliver of high quality, effective deliverables on‑time and be a significant contributor to the development of cost‑effective solutions.
  • Expert understanding of business analysis core competencies
  • Prior business analysis coaching and mentoring experience
  • Strong time‑management and organizational skills, Expert
