Human Resources Recruiter - Programs, California Services
The Recruiter - Programs will be responsible for the sourcing and acquisition of long-term talent across our different service settings and organizational systems.
The ideal candidate will have prior HR or programmatic experience the field of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD). Must have strong public speaking skills, an ability to effectively communicate our mission, and the capacity to attract top-level talent for our expanding workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, recruit, and hire top talent.
- Liaise between hiring managers and candidates to coordinate/conduct interviews, referrals, and related business processes.
- Utilize various job boards, careers pages, and social media outlets to advertise and market open positions and upcoming vacancies.
- Organize and attend career fairs, virtual interviews, and other recruiting events.
- Regularly manage pipeline activity and maintain data integrity via our ATS (i.e., Workday), and proactively share data-centric updates with internal stakeholders.
- Generate offer letters.
- Facilitate open communication between the Onboarding team and Program Managers.
- Partner with hiring managers on hiring needs and priorities to implement best-in-class talent acquisition strategies.
- Attend regional leadership meetings to provide status updates, report on progress, and other related KPIs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Salary
69,000 to 70,500
Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Two years’ experience in a talent sourcing role or related discipline is preferred.
- Basic understanding of CA labor laws and regulations, as pertains to hiring.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), PHR or SPHR credential preferred.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to research, learn, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
- Ability to orchestrate positive outcomes.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- HRIS knowledge, Workday and ADP preferred.
