Role Description
HPA Healthcare is seeking a Travel Nurse Recruiter / Clinician Partner to join our growing team. This is a full-time, sales-driven recruiting role responsible for building long-term relationships with travel nurses and managing the full recruitment lifecycle—from initial outreach through placement and ongoing engagement.
This role is hybrid in North Carolina (Raleigh–Durham–Chapel Hill) or remote for out of market recruiters. Success is driven by strong communication, consistent outreach, and the ability to operate as a trusted partner to clinicians while managing a performance-based desk.
Compensation & Incentives
- Base Salary: $50,000 annually
- Commission: Uncapped commission structure
- Bonuses: Tiered bonus program based on gross profit performance
- Earning Potential: High performers can significantly exceed base salary through commissions and bonus tiers

What You’ll Do
- Recruit, screen, and place travel nurses across multiple specialties and facilities
- Build and maintain long-term clinician relationships as a trusted partner and advocate
- Actively source candidates through outbound calling, texting, and digital platforms
- Educate clinicians on assignments, pay packages, and compliance requirements
- Manage a full-cycle recruiting desk with clear performance metrics
- Collaborate closely with internal sales, credentialing, and operations teams to ensure smooth placements
Qualifications
- Prior travel nurse recruiting or healthcare staffing experience preferred
- Proven success in a sales, commission, or quota-driven environment
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable with high-volume outreach (calls, texts, email)
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Motivated, coachable, and team-oriented
- Knowledge of healthcare staffing workflows and compliance is a plus
