Position Overview
The Hiring Specialist is responsible for managing the recruitment process from job posting through candidate selection and onboarding. This role works closely with department managers to identify staffing needs, attract qualified candidates, and ensure a smooth and professional hiring experience.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, people-oriented, and experienced in recruitment within healthcare or professional service environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination
- Collaborate with department managers to identify hiring needs and develop recruitment strategies
- Draft and maintain job descriptions and job postings for new and existing rolesReview resumes and conduct initial candidate screenings
- Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process
- Maintain organized recruitment records and candidate tracking systems
- Support onboarding processes for new hires, including documentation and orientation coordination
- Ensure hiring practices align with company policies and applicable employment standards
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to build strong talent pipelines, highlighting the organization’s employee value proposition to attract top candidates and support long-term staffing needs
- Perform additional duties essential to business operations as required, contributing to the overall success of the team and organization
- Meeting Acumen Members to execute hiring plans understanding their goals and vision.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 2 years of recruitment, hiring, or HR experience
- Experience in healthcare recruitment or professional services environments preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to assess candidates for both technical qualifications and cultural fit
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and online job platforms (Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.)
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple open roles simultaneously
- Professional, confidential, and ethical approach to hiring

Additional Information
- Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
- Pay: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
