About

The Product Management at BORA coordinates and manages our product lines throughout their entire lifecycle. To ensure this, they are closely networked with other departments, such as Development, Purchasing, Marketing, and Sales, and are in constant exchange. To ensure that BORA remains state of the art in the kitchen industry in the future, Product Management at BORA also pays special attention to product design.

Responsibilities

• Development of holistic operating concepts for embedded systems, incorporating physical controls and platform-specific guidelines
• Conception of intuitive interaction models, user flows, and information architectures for embedded HMIs
• Design of high-quality, brand-consistent interfaces based on the BORA Design System, including typography, iconography, and UX writing
• Maintenance and further development of the BORA Design System
• Creation of interactive prototypes and execution of usability tests for continuous, data-based optimization
• Conducting user analyses and context studies, and deriving user-centered UX strategies, taking into account safety and accessibility
• Close collaboration with development and product management, and handover of implementation-ready designs, including specifications

Qualifications

• Completed degree or comparable qualification in UX Design, Communication Design, or similar fields
• Several years of professional experience in HMI design, ideally in the field of consumer electronics or household appliances
• Experience with user research and usability tests, both qualitative and quantitative
• Knowledge of collaboration with embedded software and hardware development
• Initial experience with touch, gesture, or voice control is an advantage
• Structured, creative, and innovative mindset, as well as technical affinity
• Very good German language skills, good English language skills
