QinetiQ US , is seeking a candidate with Homeland Security Experience and with domain knowledge, business acumen, and an entrepreneurial spirit that loves working in a fast paced growing environment. Responsibilities

• Perform full-life cycle recruiting for open positions across Avantus’s Defense/Intel disciplines including funded, proposal and projected (pipeline) job openings
• Leverage market intelligence to shape and inform talent acquisition strategies and business decisions, applying learned and acquired business acumen associated with the work programs
• Conduct/ participate in weekly meetings with hiring managers
• Ensure timely and accurate applicant tracking system (iCIMS) data entry
• Maintain assigned talent acquisition metrics
• Partner with the corporate facility security team ensuring accurate and timely information exchange regarding candidates in the clearance process

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ related work experience, recruiting within the Homeland Security/CBP community required
• Previous experience recruiting for a federal government contractor or military recruiting
• Understanding of federal, state and local employment laws
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience recruiting cleared talent
• Experience with Union workforces
• Experience with background and drug screening
• Experience recruiting for technical capabilities
• Ability to recommend and implement creative talent acquisition strategies that strengthen Avantus's competitive advantage in the Defense community
• Excellent organizational, time management, and process management skills as well as keen attention to detail
• Proven interpersonal skills and experience building strong relationships with candidates, internal customers, and business partners
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently, both independently and with collaborative teams
• Self-Starter with a track record of producing results that meet or exceed the business goals and objectives
• Possess positive attitude, focused on customer satisfaction
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
• Experience with OFCCP approved Applicant Tracking Systems (preferably iCIMS)
