QinetiQ US , is seeking a candidate with Homeland Security Experience and with domain knowledge, business acumen, and an entrepreneurial spirit that loves working in a fast paced growing environment. Responsibilities
- Perform full-life cycle recruiting for open positions across Avantus’s Defense/Intel disciplines including funded, proposal and projected (pipeline) job openings
- Leverage market intelligence to shape and inform talent acquisition strategies and business decisions, applying learned and acquired business acumen associated with the work programs
- Conduct/ participate in weekly meetings with hiring managers
- Ensure timely and accurate applicant tracking system (iCIMS) data entry
- Maintain assigned talent acquisition metrics
- Partner with the corporate facility security team ensuring accurate and timely information exchange regarding candidates in the clearance process
Qualifications
- 2+ years’ related work experience, recruiting within the Homeland Security/CBP community required
- Previous experience recruiting for a federal government contractor or military recruiting
- Understanding of federal, state and local employment laws
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience recruiting cleared talent
- Experience with Union workforces
- Experience with background and drug screening
- Experience recruiting for technical capabilities
- Ability to recommend and implement creative talent acquisition strategies that strengthen Avantus's competitive advantage in the Defense community
- Excellent organizational, time management, and process management skills as well as keen attention to detail
- Proven interpersonal skills and experience building strong relationships with candidates, internal customers, and business partners
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently, both independently and with collaborative teams
- Self-Starter with a track record of producing results that meet or exceed the business goals and objectives
- Possess positive attitude, focused on customer satisfaction
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
- Experience with OFCCP approved Applicant Tracking Systems (preferably iCIMS)
