Key Responsibilities
- Developing a strategic vision and roadmap for the Payment Gateway, ensuring alignment with the company’s business goals and merchant requirements.
- Conducting in-depth market analysis, including competitor research, best practice studies, and identifying growth opportunities to enhance the product.
- Engaging with stakeholders (merchants, internal teams, top management) to gather requirements, prioritize features, and optimize business processes.
- Collaborating with development, UX/UI, analytics, and QA teams to ensure timely and high-quality product releases.
- Conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) and analyzing user feedback to validate the usability and effectiveness of implemented features.
- Monitoring key payment platform metrics (conversion rates, payment acceptance rates, customer satisfaction) and implementing improvements.
- Collecting and analyzing feedback from customer support and merchants, translating identified issues into concrete product improvements.
- Ensuring seamless integration of the payment product with other components of the company’s ecosystem (APIs, security systems, analytics, etc.).
- Supporting and fostering internal training processes and knowledge sharing within the team.
Required Experience
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager, preferably in payments, fintech, or e-commerce.
- Deep understanding of the payment solutions ecosystem: payment orchestration, PSPs (payment service providers), acquiring, payment schemes, and anti‑fraud systems.
- Experience with merchant back‑office systems, including transaction management, new payment method integration, analytics, and reporting.
- Strong skills in managing complex B2B products, with a focus on user experience and customer satisfaction.
- Experience with analytical tools (Google Analytics, Amplitude, Tableau, Power BI) and a data‑driven approach to decision‑making.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and business teams, as well as external partners.
- Understanding of API integrations and their role within the payment solutions ecosystem.
- Commitment to continuous product improvement, based on a deep understanding of customer needs.
- English proficiency at B2+ level for communication with international partners.
- Preferred location: EU
Nice to Have
- Experience with regulatory frameworks such as PCI DSS, KYC/AML, PSD2, Open Banking, and other payment industry regulations.
- Knowledge of SQL and database querying skills for independent data analysis.
- Experience with A/B testing and experimental methodologies.
